The Telethon Chile Foundation Lab of the March which is the first one in Chile and in Latin America has assisted 5000 patients since it started functioning in the year 2002.
At present they are working to strengthen a Network with all the Labs that are associated to the International Organization of Telethons (Oriel) in order to share experiences and to standardize procedures.
The Lab of the March consists on a computerized technic that allows the evaluation of the movements of the body such as way of walking, movement of the trunk during the march, study of the movement of the upper limbs and the children and teenagers balance thus helping to make a better diagnosis and consequently a better treatment
