On past September 19th, the founder and president of the International Organization of Telethons (Oritel), Mr. Mario Kreutzberger was acknowledged by the Panamerican Health Organization and by the World Health Organization ((OPS/OMS) for a decade of support to health in the Americas.
The acknowledgement was formalized during the last TV edition of “Sabado Gigante” program that Mr. Mario Kreutzberger (artistically known as Don Francisco) conducted uninterruptedly for 53 years.
During the event the Director of the OPS/OMS, Miss Carissa F Etienne gave the founder and president of the Oritel a crystal obelisk in recognition of his collaboration to raise awareness about prevention of disease and promotion of healthy styles of life in the region.
