The summit of Medical Directors that work for the International Organization of Telethons (ORITEL) that was celebrated in the city of Tula in Honduras ended on August 15th with various agreements and commitments that will allow the organization to go on advancing on the quality standards in the assistances that children and adolescents with disabilities who are treated in the centers that are installed in 12 countries of the continent receive.

One of the agreements refers to the realization of a medical project about the management of knowledge that will be the most significant project carried out by the organization so far. It consists on the interaction that should exist between rehabilitation and inclusion.

It has to do with the implementation of the Oritel system of information of disability (SIDRO) which objective will be to give form, organize and unify all the diverse information that is generated by the rehabilitation institutes and centers that belong to the 12 Telethon Foundations that nowadays form part of the ORITEL system.
